Birth Photography is best booked during pregnancy, allowing us to plan ahead and be ready for your baby’s arrival. As your due date approaches, simply keep us updated and we’ll be there when the moment arrives.
For Fresh 48, get in touch when you’re heading to the labour room or once your baby arrives. We’ll plan around your timing and be there to document those precious first hours with your baby, your partner and your close family.

Newborn photography requires patience.
Your baby’s comfort and safety will always come before getting a particular photograph.
Sessions are baby-led, with plenty of time for feeding, changing, comforting and settling. Babies are never rushed, and poses are never forced simply for the sake of a photograph.
The best images often happen when everyone is comfortable.
One day, they will want to see these photographs too.
Your baby deserves beautiful portraits.
But they also deserve photographs of the people who were there from the very beginning.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How old should my baby be for a newborn session?
Newborn sessions are generally planned within the first couple of weeks after birth. However, beautiful photographs can still be created with older babies.
Is there a specific age limit for your baby sessions?
Our sessions are structured into two age groups:
0–3 months: Newborn & Baby sessions. Newborn-style photographs are best captured during the first few weeks, while sessions up to 3 months are also possible with some limitations depending on your baby’s development.
3 months–3 years: Baby & Toddler sessions, focusing on your little one’s expressions, milestones, personality and natural interactions.
When should I book my session?
It’s best to get in touch during pregnancy so we can reserve a place around your expected due date.
What if my baby doesn’t sleep?
That’s completely fine. Your baby doesn’t have to sleep throughout the session. We’ll work around their mood, feeding and needs.
Can parents and siblings be included?
Absolutely. Family photographs are an important part of the newborn experience.
What should we wear?
Simple, comfortable and neutral clothing usually works best. We’ll guide you before the session.
How long does the session take?
The duration depends on the package and how your baby is doing on the day. We allow enough time for feeding, changing and settling.
When will we receive the photographs?
Your final edited photographs will be delivered through a private online gallery within 15-20 working days.
How do I choose photos for editing?
After the session, you will receive access to an online gallery where you can review all the images. Select your favorites, and I will help you with the final selection and recommend the best photos for editing based on your preferences and the style of the session.
